Things started poorly with step 1 of the assembly instructions. One of the three bolts that hold the pole supports had a pressed-in insert nut that spun freely in the base. As a result, the bolt could not be removed to install the bracket. I was able to drill out the bolt and insert and replace it with my own bolt and nut. Thereafter the assembly went smoothly and took about one hour.

The unit heats as advertised. The only drawback is that to be effective, there should be little or no wind. The slight breeze displaced the heated air, and unfortunately we have a prevailing wind off the ocean in this part of the country.

This patio heater warms up a large area, it's heat can be felt from up to 20 feet away on a windless night. It can be placed between two tables and effectively keep everyone warm.

I wish it had a propane tank door, but it is simple to lift up the cover to turn it on. The wheels make it possible to move it with a full tank, but you must support the shaft when doing so.

It assembles very easily in less than 20 minutes after you get it unpacked. The price/quality ratio could be a little better, it seems a little high for a non-fancy (i.e. artsy) heater. Perhaps being a "commercial-grade" heater makes the price higher. Time will tell if it is able to stand up to a maritime environment and heavy summer-time use.

The product itself works very well, however, the assembly directions were extremely bland and if i did not know how to read blue prints I dont even think I wouldve been able to figure out how to make the thing. I originally was not even supposed to make it but my brother could not figure it out.

Had an outdoor Halloween party, put it under a 10'x10' canopy. Make sure you have at least 2 feet of clearance from the top. The night was in the low 40s and wet, you could feel the heat under the adjoining canopy. Most people under the canopy with the heater seemed comfortable. There were no sides on the canopy but it still worked quite well, even with a slight breeze. Took about an hour to put together, seems pretty stable but you still have to be careful and brace the top when you move it. Easy access to the tank (sold separately), just lift the cover up and rest it on the frame base. Used it for about 6 hours. Gave it 4 stars because I have used it only once so far, but seems built to last.
